I loved this book! I loved how the transformation of the characters rose then fell. Ms. Hammond did an excellent job in capturing the essence of what happen when it goes to far in your head! What I like most about this book is the process of the characters from humble to prideful, then the downfall. I really like how the main character Angela, learns her lesson. But she also learns it the hard way. I adore that that Angela and her transformation to prideful person is fast. I like how she takes things far and is not who she was in the beginning. The fall of Angela was a surprise and not what I expected. I thought that maybe she become yesterdays news, but instead it was something worse. The love interest of this book is sweet and enduring. I like that he was their before and after her fall. I like that he was really with her no matter how big her head got. Now that, is true love. I love that Angela, learn that it is whats on the inside that counts.Pride is a great book about rising then falling. Never should you think that just because you have something now, does not mean you will have it tomorrow. Be humble and grateful for what you have. Be nice and courteous to everyone no matter who you are. You never know what might happen to you. Ms. Hammond's Pride is a delightful read full of promise and enjoyment!
