Books With Bite

When I got into this book, I expected a mystery thriller. But, WOW did this book catch me by surprise.Plot: First, thing the plot is well written. It pulls the reader in with the mystery of Annalise and where she’s been. Having no memory and as stranger always leaving cryptic messages, I was fully intrigued. The more I dived into Annalise’s head and the more I saw, the more I became attached and utterly wowed by what is actually happening.Movement: What bothered me the most is the development of the story. It moved slowly (a little slow for my liking) and really I’m an impatient reader. Once questions start popping in my head, I begin rushing my reading cause I need to know. Even though it was slow, I understood that the foundation for the story needed to be set in order for the reader to understand.Love/Friendship/Deal with evil: Now there are a few parts of the story that start to look hopeful and the next thing you know, BAM! Right back into darkness. Just when you think you got it figured out, your lost again cause of a cyrptic message. Not to mention, that once I got last few chapters and all was revealed I was like,” WHAAAAAAAT!”The detailing of the story is what makes it beautiful. It’s the little things that you catch as your reading. Her covered in blood, memory loss, a friend from the past. Every thing put together makes for an excellent thriller. Terrifying and solid, Another Little Piece is great.
