Books With Bite

Let me tell that this book was just great! It had me confused for a bit. Just like the characters in the book, you are confused and can't figure much out. I loved it when an author makes me feel like the characters not only seeing everything through their eyes but feeling all the emotions.Thomas has awoken to a nightmare. He doesn't remember anything but his name. The others around him are the same. The live in a maze which no one can escape. But there is something different about Thomas. He is a newbie and should be acting like one. Instead he is smart, fast, and knows what to do. Thomas also wants to be a maze runner.The Maze Runner is like no other book. The plot of it, the action, drama, suspense is all great. The society that is created by these young boys is fascinating. They have rules, regulations, chores and places all must be. They have all lived by it and know nothing else. Thomas is a great character. Even though he may seem scared when something happen his instincts take over and BAM! It's like he's rambo or something. The build up to the main secret was good. Very good. I loved how the reader got to learn secrets and memories little by little inching you close to the big explosion. The book became a page turner and nothing could stop me. The ending was HOLY CROW! I just could not wrap my head around it. It was mind blowing.If you have not read this book. It is a great dyspotian novel that will leave you breathless. Plus it is in a boys POV and that makes for a better read.
