Books With Bite

After reading the first book and really loving the feel of it, I knew I had to read this one as well. I can say that I like this one more that I like the first book.What I liked most about this book is the growth in the character. I loved that Hartley is smarter more cunning now. She isn't fooled easily anymore. She has become more of a detective and much more mature. I liked that Hartley is still at heart a teenager. I enjoyed her moments of freaking out of a boy and such. It always made me smile when she had conversation with her mother. It sounded a lot like my mom and I.The plot of the book is simple yet very easy to get into. I like however how the ending took a whole other turn that I was not expecting. I seriously did not suspect that person at all! Ms. Halliday kept me so entertain in the book that I hadn't even realize to suspect the person. It was a great shift in the plot and very good writing!Social Suicide has a climactic confrontation that plays well into the readers. Each new clue, each undiscovered secrets boils down to a murderer you never would of thought. Want a good Twittercide to get into, read this!
