Mary learns some very hard lessons in such a harsh way. I felt for Mary in all the secrets that were kept from her. From her people. She learn that they were kept stupid. No one ever telling them anymore than they should know. This book was greatly written. The plot was nothing that I have read before. This is defiantly a one of the kind story.
