Beautiful Darkness (Beautiful Creatures Series #2)

Beautiful Darkness - Margaret Stohl, Kami Garcia What happens when all you think is bad things? Bad things happen right? Well, Lena thinks nothing but the worse, bringing the worse to her and Ethan. It forms for a great plot and drama in the book. Also, a lot of heart ache.Ethan is struggling. Lena is in la la land and he just can't seem to bring her back. On top of all of that, he is now seeing weird things. Visions, if you will. He needs to tell her, but she is unstable. Ethan comes into the hands of a new trainee. A girl who is training to be a Caster Librarian.Relationship Strain. Major Strain. Plus a re-bound. All of this and more in the book. I love how well the plot came the be and the secrets that were spilled. More was learned about Ethan parents and their secret relationship. Which I have to say, really blew me away. I did not see that coming. I knew their was some kind of a connection, but WOW!Ethan is alone. All alone. And when people feel alone, they turn to someone who is there. Lena is also struggling with herself. She feels heavy guilt with everything that has happen. And instead of confining in Ethan, she throws herself to the wolves finding herself in a whole lot of trouble. I love how Ethan, even though he was hurt, he fought for her. At one point, I felt like she didn't even deserve him. But Ethan loved her so much he fought, dragging along his friend and re-bound girl. I do feel bad for this girl. But I was glad that she saw the love that Ethan had for Lena and let it be. She didn't freak out or be hurt. She knew who his heart belong to. I admire her greatly. I do however, wish their was more action. The drama was good, just a little too much. I love how in the end they were able to defeat what they were fighting and find each other. But even when you think that you are done, there is always something more.
